Along with the other design engineers at ENVE Composites, I helped design the MOG Gravel Bike launched in 2024. I invented a new system of cable management that was patented along side the downtube storage system. I additionally helped design and make CAD for the downtube guard.

Tasked with modifying two relatively basic tape machines from Shez Tung such that they would faster and easier to operate in production. After adding a pneumatic circuit, including a two hand tie down, and a variety of other modifications, the machines were successfully deployed into wheel production.

As part of our production process, large metal pre forms need to be cleaned between each tool cycle, and I was tasked with making tools that could hold an abrasive like Scotch-bright and fit the appropriate tools geometries. It was additionally critical the tools were easy to use with gloves for operators.

The Seaglider Fabrication Center at the University of Washington was dedicated to developing deep sea gliders, capable of depths down to 6000 meters, for remote, autonomous data collection. I had the opportunityu to work as an intern, soldering the various micro-electronics that would guide the glider across the sea and into the unknown.

During the development of ENVE's gravel bike, the MOG, I was tasked with designing a cable management system. However, in the process I discovered a new, and better, method for managing the cables routed internally within the frame, leveraging soft fabrics rather than rigid plastics.

In order to navigate existing patents and carve out our own space, we designed a new method for a door and latch combination that could be included in a bicycles design without altering its aesthetics or function.

My field studio partner, Cody Snow, and I were lucky enough to work with the Bureau of Land Management, designing an E-Bike transportation system for Bears Ears National Monument. Our project received significant attention at the University of Utah before we decided to submit for the 2017 Core77 Design Awards, where we earned runner up in Sports & Recreation.
